A former UP member was arrested along with fake dollars and fake money in a joint operation by police and army forces in Noakhali Kabirhat. During this time, 13 bundles of fake dollars and 250 fake notes of 1 thousand rupees were recovered.

The arrested former UP member is Kabir Uddin (51), son of deceased Golam Mostafa of Bhatirtek village of Bhatirtek village in Sadar Upazila of Sadar Upazila.
