A college student died from a tree in Noakhali. The incident took place on Saturday (February 7) at the house of Yusuf Member of North Kachpia village of Char Jubilee Union of the upazila.

The deceased was identified as Arman Hossain Chavid (1), Joseph Member of the same village. Khalil Ullah’s son. He was a student of the first year humanities of the beach government college.

Police and locals said that Arman got into the tree at around 7:30 pm to cut the branches of their nuts inside the house.  At this time, when he set foot on a branch, he broke down and fell down. In this he became unconscious after getting chest pain. Later, the people of the house saw him immediately taken to Subarnchar Upazila Health Complex. After his death, the shadow of mourning came down in the area.

Officer -in -Charge of Charjbbar Police Station (OC) Mohammad Shaheen Mia said the police visited the scene after receiving the news. The body has been handed over to the family without autopsy as there is no complaint.
