The district health department has set a target of vaccinating 1 lakh 12 thousand girls for free in Noakhali to prevent cervical cancer. These vaccinations will be given through a special campaign of human papilloma virus (HPV) vaccination of adolescents.

On Wednesday (October 23) in the press briefing in Noakhali, District Civil Surgeon Dr. spoke about the prevention of cervical cancer. Masum Iftekhar.

He also said that this program will start in Noakhali from tomorrow Thursday (October 24).

The civil surgeon said, “Vth to ninth class girls in school and 10 to 14-year-old girls who are out of school will get this vaccination free of cost. One dose vaccine campaign will last for 18 days. He also said that 13 thousand women are affected by breast cancer every year in the country.

To get vaccinated, you have to go to the website and register with your 17-digit online birth registration number. However, those who do not have an online birth registration certificate will also be specially listed and vaccinated. The registration process has already started.
