Nk Barta Online Desk:
VP Nurul Haque Noor, president of the central committee of the People’s Rights Council commented that we got another chance through the people’s uprising. He said, we want to make use of this opportunity to build the Bangladesh of the future. People of Bangladesh want change.
He said these things while addressing a mass gathering of youth at Harinarayanpur Union High School grounds of Sadar Upazila of Noakhali on Saturday (November 2) afternoon.
Referring to the country’s politics, he said that the people of the country did not get political and economic freedom despite getting an independent state through the bloody war in 1971. After the fall of Ershad’s military regime, we got democracy but could not ensure people’s right to vote.
Noor said, we do not believe in politics of revenge and revenge. We want to build a democratic non-discriminatory inclusive new society and state with all. There will be no fighting. There will be politics of tolerance and harmony. The path through politics will be the path of peace.
Rashed Khan, General Secretary of Public Rights Parishad Central Committee, Central Committee member Faisal Ahmed and others also spoke at this time.
