Nk Barta Online Desk:
59 persons recommended for final recruitment and training at Sarda Police Academy in Rajshahi have been discharged on charges of indiscipline.
Earlier last October, 59 SIs who were undergoing training were bereaved. They were given this notice for creating chaos by sitting randomly in the training class.
Incidentally, SI 252 who was training at the academy was dismissed on charges of indiscipline. This order was given in a letter signed by Superintendent of Police (Admin & Logistics) Tarek Bin Rashid on behalf of the principal of the academy on October 21.
According to the letter, the closing parade practice parade of the 40th BCS (Police) Probationers Batch-2023 was going on from 7:25 am on October 1 at the Bangladesh Police Academy parade ground. At this time, breakfast was served to all the trainees participating in the parade as per the pre-determined menu by Bangladesh Police Academy Sarada, Rajshahi during the parade break. But you don’t eat the provided breakfast and make a lot of noise in the field. You organized the other trainee cadet SIs and behaved in extreme disorder and insolence, humiliating the academy authorities. Besides, you go out of the training ground and go to your barracks at your own will while making noise with others. Such behavior as a trainee cadet SI and leaving the parade ground without permission to go to his barracks is totally against discipline. Police Inspector Mohsin Ali (BP- 69/87001520) filed a written report against you with the Principal (Additional IGP) of Bangladesh Police Academy for indiscipline that your conduct has seriously disrupted the overall training program in the field and encouraged other trainees to break discipline.
It has also been said that the Superintendent of Police (Admin & Logistics) directed the principal of the academy to file an affidavit within three days. You file a reply to the apology within the prescribed three-day period. Your submitted apologetic response appears unsatisfactory on review. Your above acts of indiscipline constitute a major hindrance and disqualification to work in the post of Sub-Inspector (SI), which is considered an important and responsible post of Bangladesh Police.
