The attack on A. H. M. Ziaul Islam, principal of Rahmania Fazil Madrasa, an isolated island of Noakhali, has been made against Kazi Abdur Rahim, an assistant professor of the same institution and the expelled president of the municipal BNP.

The attack took place on the Madrasa campus last Sunday (December 8) morning. In this incident, the teacher who was attacked made a written complaint to the Hatia Police Station and the Naval Contingent Commander.

When contacted, the accused Kazi Abdur Rahim denied the complaint and said that a written complaint against the principal has been submitted to the Deputy Commissioner.  He is lying to prevent the investigation. He also claimed that there are 36 cases against him. 

A, H, M Ziaul Islam, principal of Hatia Rahmania Fazil Madrasa, said that in order to run an institution, former MP Muhammad Ali had to be approached for some need. I am not associated with any irregularities. He demanded justice for the attack on him.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Hatia Police Station. Moniruzzaman said that the victim teacher has given a written complaint in this incident on Saturday night. Further legal action will be taken after looking into the matter.
