BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has sent a message of greetings along with financial assistance to Amjad, a Chhatra Dal leader from Kabihat Upazila of Noakhali, who lost his sight in both eyes during the anti-discrimination movement of students and the public in July-August.

On Friday (March 28) morning, on behalf of the BNP Paribas Foundation, the leaders of the Upazila and Kabirhat College Chhatra Dal went to Amjad’s house in Chiringa Bazar area of ​​Ward No. 9 of Dhansiri Union of the upazila and handed over Eid greetings along with financial assistance.

Former convener of Kabirhat Upazila Chhatra Dal, Mohsin Riaz, said that Amjad Hossain was given financial assistance and an Eid card by BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman after going to his house. Amjad lost his sight in both eyes after being pierced by a splinter in his Jatra Bari in Dhaka during the July-August movement.
