A meeting of businessmen was held with leaders of the Companiganj-Kabirhat Bankers Forum in Noakhali. The meeting was held at the head office of the Basurhat Shop Owners Multi-Cooperative Cooperative Limited in the upazila on Tuesday (July 22) morning.

The meeting was moderated by Mohammad Hafiz Uddin Bhuiyan, General Secretary of the Companiganj-Kabirhat Bankers Forum and Manager of Agrani Bank PLC Basurhat Branch, and was addressed by Muhammad Mashiur Rahman, President of the Bankers Forum and Manager of One Bank PLC Basurhat Branch, Md. Abul Kashem, Manager of Dutch Bangla Bank PLC Basurhat Branch, Md. Abu Taher, Manager of Al Arafah Islami Bank PLC Basurhat Branch, Md. Ekramul Haque Anwar, General Secretary Maulana Md. Abu Zahed etc.

At the beginning of the meeting, General Secretary of Bankers Forum and Manager of Agrani Bank PLC Basurhat Branch Mohammad Hafiz Uddin Bhuiyan mentioned the importance and contribution of businessmen in the economy of Companiganj-Kabirhat Upazila in his speech. He emphasized on ensuring the proper use of bank loan money by businessmen in the prevailing situation in the country. At the same time, he called on businessmen to be aware of taking and using loans. In their speeches, the leaders of Bankers Forum in the meeting sought the cooperation of business leaders in recovering defaulted loans and assured everyone of continuing their overall cooperation with businessmen.
