In Suvarnachar, house occupation by terrorists, attack-vandalism, 6 families on the road

In Noakhali Subarnachar, there have been reports of terrorist attacks and vandalism. At least 15 members of 6 families have lost their homes and are now on the streets. The family members broke down in tears while narrating the violent violence and atrocity of the terrorists.
Zainal Orpe Janu Majhi filed a written complaint in Charjabbar police station as the plaintiff. The incident took place at Janu Majhi’s house, adjacent to Habi Market of South Jahazamara village of Ward No. 1 of Charjabbar Union No. 1 of Subarnachar Upazila.
The female members of the victim’s family complained and said that after calling 999, the officer-in-charge of Charjabbar police station visited the spot at 3 pm and rescued the victim’s family. Now we have lost our homes and are wandering the streets. Terrorists are threatening to kill us. Today 2 days we have lost our homes and are living an inhumane life.
Zainal Abedin, the victim, Janu Majhi said, “We have been living in the house for 20 years after purchasing the land in 2004. After the escape of Sheikh Hasina on August 5, the accused repeatedly occupied the house and beat up the female members of the family. On December 17, a group of mercenary terrorists including Main Uddin, Mahfuz, Sala Uddin, local Khokon Mestri, Kamrul of the same area suddenly attacked at 10 p.m. They attacked my house with weapons, vandalized and took away the furniture and occupied the entire house including 6 houses, now I have to live on the street with my family. He is requesting the intervention of Noakhali Deputy Commissioner, Noakhali Superintendent of Police and other concerned administrations to get the house back after proper investigation of the incident.
Accused Main Uddin said, this is our place, the houses are owned by Janu Majhir, he has been occupying our place for so long now we have taken our place. We did not attack anyone but Janu Majhi people attacked us.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Charjabbar police station Shaheen Mia said that the complaint will be investigated and legal action will be taken.
