Adviser Hasan Arif in the land of no return

Interim Government Aviation and Tourism and Land Adviser AF Hasan Arif has died. He died in a capital hospital on Friday afternoon. The matter was confirmed by the adviser’s assistant private secretary. Abid Chowdhury.
He said that the advisor (Hasan Arif) sir has passed away. He breathed his last after 3 pm today (Friday). Hasan Arif was an advisor to the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Ministry of Land and Religious Affairs in the caretaker government led by Fakhruddin Ahmed from January 2008 to January 2009.
Then on August 8, 2024, he was appointed as an advisor to the Interim Government of Bangladesh and on August 9, he was appointed as an advisor to the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives. On August 27 of the same year, he was appointed as an adviser to the Ministry of Lands.
AF Hasan Arif was born in Kolkata in 1941. He completed his secondary and higher secondary education from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata. He then completed his graduation and LLB degree from Calcutta University.
Worked as a lawyer in Calcutta High Court of West Bengal, India in 1967. Then he came to Dhaka and started working in Bangladesh High Court.
AF Hasan Arif deals with foreign investor advisory, construction arbitration, commercial arbitration, finance, banking and securities, corporate, commercial and taxation, constitutional law matters, public hearings, arbitration and other methods of alternative dispute resolution.
