Bangladesh in Asia Cup final with India

Bangladesh won the toss and took the fielding in the rain-hit 11 over match. The match against Nepal in the U-19 Women’s Asia Cup was an unscheduled semi-final. After keeping the girls of the Himalayan country in check with great bowling, the Tigresses reached the final with an easy win of 9 wickets by showing their power in batting.
On Friday (December 20), Nepal could not score more than 58 runs for 8 wickets at Bayums Oval in Kuala Lumpur. Team Tigresses’ opponent in the final is India after a 4-wicket victory over Sri Lanka in another game.

None of the rest could go into double figures. Farzana Yasmin, Anisa Akhtar Soba, Fahmida and Habiba Islam took one wicket each for the Tigresses.
In the Super Four phase match at the same venue, the Lankans were helpless against the Indian bowlers. After losing the toss and batting, he played the entire 20 overs and stopped at 98 runs for 9 wickets. In response, Team India reached the target with 31 balls in hand and 6 wickets.
