Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central assistant secretary Maulana Muhammad Shahjahan said that by banning journalists from writing, Sheikh Hasina has turned Bangladesh into a nation of slaves by taking away freedom of speech and religious freedom. The clerics were handcuffed in the court.

He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the worker’s conference of Sramik Kalyan Federation at Noakhali Zilla School ground on Wednesday (December 25) at noon. Noakhali District Labor Welfare Federation organized this meeting.

He said that Sheikh Hasina’s government has destroyed the election system by sleeping, murdering, torturing and killing army officers. In the name of job, they gave dead bodies from house to house. Instead of Rs 10 rice, it created an artificial famine by breaking the economic system.
