A young man died due to electrocution in Noakhali’s Subarnachar. The accident took place at the house of Yusuf Ali of Ward No. 1 of Char Clerk Union of the upazila around 11:30 on Wednesday (December 25). The deceased Zahed Hossain (35) of the same village. Son of Hanif Mia.
According to police and local sources, the electric motor used by Zaheed broke down a few days ago. For this, the neighbor brought Yusuf Ali’s motor. On Wednesday around 11:30 am, he died on the spot due to electrocution while opening the electric cable from the motor to irrigate his land.
Charjabbar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shaheen Mia confirmed the matter and said that the body was handed over to the family as there was no complaint.
