Bangladesh Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader’s village in Noakhali’s companyiganj, was attacked, vandalized and set on fire. 

On Thursday (February 7), at around 8:30 pm, a two -storey building of the house of Rajapur village of ward no 1 of Basurhat municipality began.

Locals said the students staged a procession from Basurhat Bazar around 9pm. The procession ended at Kader’s house at Basurhat bus stand. Later, the younger brother of Obaidul Quader, former mayor of Basurhat Municipality, was demolished with a hammer, hammer, mirror. Later, his younger brother Shahadat Mirza’s building was also vandalized. Earlier, on the afternoon of August 5, five settlements and two cars were vandalized and set on fire. The crowds can be seen taking different furniture.
