The price of gold fell again, effective from Tuesday

Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has announced to reduce the price of gold in the country’s market. According to the new rates, gold prices have been cut by a maximum of Rs 1,248, which will be effective from Tuesday.
This information was informed in a press release signed by Masudur Rahman, the Chairman of Bajus Price Determination and Price Monitoring Standing Committee on Monday.
At the new price, the price of best quality 22 carat (11.664 grams) gold will be Tk 1 lakh 39 thousand 338, 21 carat gold will be Tk 1 lakh 33 thousand 5, 18 carat gold will be Tk 1 lakh 14 thousand 4 And the cost of gold per traditional method will be 93 thousand 604 taka.
Meanwhile, silver prices have been kept unchanged despite the reduction in gold prices. According to the category, the price of 22 carat silver is 2 thousand 578 taka, the price of 21 carat is 2 thousand 449 taka, the price of 18 carat is 2 thousand 111 taka and the price of traditional silver is 1 thousand 586 taka.
