Subarnachar Youth Dal leader accused of trying to rape a housewife, case filed in police station

In Noakhali Subarnachar, a youth party leader has been accused of trying to rape a mother of 1 child. The victim of this incident filed a written complaint at Char Jabbar police station on December 14 at 8 pm.
The accused Jubo Dal leader Abdur Rahman (32) is the vice-president of Ward No. 2 Jubo Dal of Subarnachar Upazila Char Aman Ullah Union and son of Khurshid Alam of Belalgo Bari of Kata Bunia village.
The incident took place last December 10 (Tuesday) at around 12:30 PM at Ward No. 2 of Char Aman Ullah Union, Char Aman Ullah village at Matiur Rahman’s house.
Relatives of the victim’s family said that many influential leaders of BNP and Juba Dal are currently working to cover up the incident and take it in different directions, and the plaintiffs are also being threatened to withdraw the case.
The victim’s father Charkazi Dulal of Mokhles village said, “I married my daughter near Mozammel, after some time my son-in-law took a job in Mezammel, so my daughter stayed alone at home. Sometimes Abdur Rahman came to my house and proposed to my daughter several times. I want justice for what happened to my daughter on Tuesday.
Accused Abdur Rahman said that false allegations have been made against me due to land dispute, I am not involved in this incident in any way. I am being framed by the fuel of a kuchkri mahal.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Charjabbar police station Shaheen Mia said that a written complaint has been received in this incident, SI Mahmudul has been given the responsibility. Action will be taken after investigation.
