The baby’s body recovered seven days after the disappearance

Police have recovered the body of an eighteen -month -old baby from Begamganj in Noakhali. However, the police could not report any cause of the death of the baby immediately. 

 

The body was recovered from the pond of Monir Hossain’s house in Jahanabad village of ward no 1 of the upazila on Monday (January 26) at 4 pm.

 

The deceased was identified as Roni, the son of Monir Hossain’s house in the same village. Begamganj Police Station Officer -in -Charge Liton Dewan confirmed the information.

 

According to police and local sources, the father of the deceased was a CNG -run auto -rickshaw driver by profession. At around 8am on Tuesday, the father of the expiration took him to a shop next to the house and bought chocolate. The child then comes home with his sister. Later, around 5:30 pm, the expiry from the backyard was missing for the last 3 days. On Monday afternoon, around 8pm, the bodies of the nephew of the expiry of the expiry of the two ponds were floating. On receiving the news, the police recovered his body.

 

Officer -in -Charge of Begamganj Police Station (OC) Liton Dewan said the police recovered the body after receiving the news.  Further legal action will be taken based on the allegations of the deceased’s family.
