A coral fish was sold for 26 thousand taka

A coral fish weighing 25 kg was caught in a fisherman’s net in the Meghna River in Hatiyar, an isolated island upazila of Noakhali. Later, a shopkeeper bought the fish for 26 thousand 500 taka.
The fish was sold at the Charbagula Ghat in the upazila on Sunday (May 25) evening. Earlier, the fish was caught in the net of Ashraf Majhi of Charking Charbagula village in the upazila in the afternoon of the same day. At that time, a crowd of people gathered to see the fish.
It is known that a large coral fish was caught in the net of local Ashraf Majhi in the afternoon. Later, the fish was brought to Monir Member’s shop at the fish shop in Charbagula Ghat. Later, he bought it for 26 thousand 500 taka at 1 thousand 60 taka per kg.
Ashraf Majhi said, I went fishing in the Meghna with the fishermen in the afternoon. While trying to pull up the net that had been set in the river, I realized that a large fish was trapped in the net. As soon as I pulled up the net, I saw the coral fish. Later, I brought the fish to the shore. I sold the fish to Monir Member’s fish shop for 26,500 taka. The fish weighed 25 kg.
