A huge Hezbut Tawheed workers’ conference was held in Sonaimuri, Noakhali with the theme “Means to protect Muslims from ongoing aggression: Uniting on Tawheed”.

This day-long conference was organized by Noakhali District Hezbut Tawheed on Tuesday (August 19, 2025) at the premises of Shahidi Jame Mosque in Sonaimuri Upazila. The conference venue was filled with the participation of thousands of leaders and activists.

The event was presided over by the organization’s Chittagong Divisional Amir Mahabur Alam and the supreme leader of Hezbut Tawheed, Imam Hossain Mohammad Selim, delivered a guiding speech as the chief guest.

In his speech as the chief guest, Imam Hossain Mohammad Selim highlighted the current critical situation of Muslims worldwide and said that today the Muslim nation around the world is a victim of extreme torture and oppression. The only way out of this humiliating situation is the unity of the Muslim world. If we cannot unite, there is no other way for the liberation of Muslims.

He identified the internal divisions of Muslims as the root cause of this crisis and said, “It is sad but true that the Muslim nation today is divided into various sects, schools of thought and factions. They are engaged in bloody conflicts against each other. Muslims must erase this suicidal division and unite under the banner of one Kalima.”

Explaining what the main basis of unity will be, the Imam of Hizb-ut-Tawhid said, “La ilaha illallah – that is, there is no god but Allah – this declaration of Tawhid can be the main slogan for the liberation of the Muslim world. The entire Muslim nation must unite on this one declaration. Only then will Allah’s help come and Muslims will regain their lost glory.”

He made an emotional appeal to the thousands of leaders and activists of the organization present at the conference. He said, “This call for unity of Hezbut Tawhid, this practical teaching of Islam must be delivered to every household in Bengal today. You must continue your relentless struggle by sacrificing your lives and wealth to build a peaceful and harmonious society.”

He called upon the members of the organization to continue their struggle by sacrificing their lives and wealth to build a society in the light of the true teachings of Islam.

More than a thousand leaders and activists from different upazilas of Noakhali district participated in this day-long conference. The spontaneous and orderly participation of women activists along with men was remarkable. Throughout the day, various programs discussed the issues that activists should do to build a society in the light of Tawhid.
